Job SummaryWe are seeking one to two experienced Concrete finishing Workerto lead field crews on flatwork and structural concrete projects. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, self-sufficient, and capable of managing crews, schedules, and quality standards on-site. Preference will be given to foremen who can bring established crews.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead concrete crews on job sites.
- Oversee flatwork and curb construction, including layout, forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
- Inlets
- Walls
- Headwalls
- Box culverts
- Other site and drainage structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate daily activities, materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within quality standards.
- Maintain job site safety in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Perform layout and grading verification as needed.
- Troubleshoot field issues and make real-time decisions to maintain progress.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman (flatwork and structural required).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a crew efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Knowledge of forming systems, finishing techniques, and structural concrete practices.
- Experience with drainage structures and DOT-related work preferred.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to bring an established crew (preferred).
- $1,700 – $2,000 per week (based on experience and skill level)
- $2,000/week for highly skilled, self-sufficient foreman
