ELS is hiring for the position of Construction Services Supervisor in Tampa, FL.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing support with the management of new manufactured home setup according to the Company’s standards and processes. Maintains construction schedules, aids in construction invoicing review and processing, tracks service/warranty repairs to completion, manages and reconciles appropriate billbacks to responsible parties and ensures customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the construction process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collects and consolidates various manufacturers online and offline unit production information.
  • Aggregates construction schedules and timelines from Construction & Operational team members.
  • Aids in construction invoice review and processing.
  • Assists Construction Managers and members of Legal and Compliance in the vendor contract formation process.
  • Tracks expiration of Certificates of Insurance and Construction Agreements. Sends out vendor notices of renewal accordingly.
  • Supports Construction and Operational staff in the purchase order setup and activation process.
  • Leads review of construction build confirmation/plans to confirm they comply with approved specifications.
  • Home order support.
  • Maintains database of available and measured available sites.
  • Tracks, schedules & coordinates resolutions to new unit warranty and service matters.
  • Assigns needed contractor or manufacturer resources to address warranty and service matters in a timely manner.
  • Liaises with Customers on any quality or punch list issues to ensure all items are corrected in a timely manner.
  • Maintains custodial records of all new unit warranty and service matters.
  • Field review and signoff of serviceable and warrantable matters under certain conditions.
  • Supports the Home Set Director with budget and individual home cost management.
  • Communicates and follows up with customers and operational staff on the status of repairs.
  • Ability to summarize and provide reporting on areas of responsibility on an as needed basis.
  • Responsible for the review, management, reconciliation and collection of qualifying billback charges to responsible parties.
  • Works with utility providers to ensure all services are connected to align with the scheduled make ready dates.
  • Ensures contractor and manufacturer adherence to company quality standards.
  • Works with team members to share feedback and improve planning activities, including, but not limited to:
    Vendor coaching and performance feedback through schedule and quality recordables.
  • Works with the Authoritative Bodies to submit and attain relent permits and approvals to adhere to schedules.
  • Educates customers and operational staff on home warranty information and provides guidance on the respective service repair channels when appropriate.
  • Continuously collaborates with manufacturers, subcontractors and/or trades throughout service and warranty processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with construction schedules, build plans, specifications, and permit processes.
  • Ability to assist with vendor contracts, certificates of insurance, and regulatory/permit requirements.
  • Experience tracking, coordinating, and resolving warranty claims and service matters.
  • Comfortable with invoice review, purchase orders, budget tracking, cost management, and billback reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in maintaining organized records and databases (sites, warranties, vendors, etc.).
  • Ability to summarize data and produce reports across areas of responsibility.
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent responsibilities across construction, operations, and warranty functions.
  • Ability to travel 50%
