Project Manager - Commercial Landscape Construction

KEY LEADERSHIP MANDATES

• Portfolio P&L Command: Own the financial performance of a portfolio of large-scale construction projects, with direct accountability for gross margin and project profitability.
• GC & Developer Relationships: Serve as the senior point of contact for general contractors, developers, and owners, securing repeat work and protecting the firm's reputation on marquee projects.
• Pre-Construction Rigor: Direct estimating, bidding, and buyout discipline to ensure projects are won at defensible margins and resourced for profitable execution.
• Project Controls: Institutionalize WIP reporting, change-order management, and schedule controls across all active projects to eliminate margin leakage.
• Field Execution: Drive crew productivity, equipment utilization, and self-perform efficiency across high-density, logistically complex job sites.
• Risk & Contract Management: Manage contract terms, retainage, and risk exposure on eight-figure agreements to protect cash flow and limit liability.
• Talent Pipeline: Recruit and develop project managers, superintendents, and estimators capable of supporting an expanding book of work.
• Backlog Conversion: Convert a strong project backlog into predictable, on-margin delivery while positioning the division for continued growth.
