Senior Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Construction to lead the successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Tampa, Florida market. This position is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale commercial and industrial projects for a General Contractor and possess strong leadership, client management, financial, and operational experience.

• Lead all aspects of project management from preconstruction through project closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans
• Manage project teams including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders
• Oversee project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
• Review and manage contracts, change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues that may impact schedule, budget, or quality
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, company standards, and safety policies
• Coordinate procurement strategies and oversee long‑lead material tracking
• Mentor and develop project management staff while promoting a collaborative team environment
• Support business development efforts and participate in client relationship management activities
• Ensure successful project closeout including punch list completion, turnover documentation, and warranty management

• Minimum 8‑10+ years of construction project management experience with a General Contractor
• Proven experience managing commercial and/or industrial construction projects from inception through completion
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and project teams simultaneously
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, contracts, and cost control
• Ability to manage project financials, forecasting, and profitability
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
