Project Manager (Geotechnical)

Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Project Manager (Geotechnical) to join one of our valued client partners. We are seeking a results-driven construction project leader who can successfully manage multiple field and office-based projects, oversee budgets, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships in a demanding, deadline-driven environment. • Manage multiple geotechnical and construction projects from kickoff through completion
• Oversee schedules, budgets, labor planning, and resource allocation
• Conduct regular client meetings to define scope, expectations, and project updates
• Coordinate internal teams, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
• Develop cost estimates and monitor actual spend versus projected budgets
• Identify project risks, delays, or cost variances and implement corrective action
• Prepare detailed progress reports for leadership and customers
• Support proposal development alongside sales and estimating teams
• Ensure all work meets engineering standards, customer requirements, and safety expectations
• Travel throughout Florida for active project oversight and client support
• Balance approximately 50% office responsibilities and 50% field responsibilities

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in geotechnical, civil, heavy construction, foundation, or related industries
• Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong budgeting, cost tracking, and project forecasting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment averaging 50+ hours per week based on project demands
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida as needed
• Comfortable working onsite in Tampa initially and relocating to Brooksville, Florida within 12 months
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Stable employment history with clear progression and project ownership

• Geotechnical construction project experience
• Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). background
• Experience with deep foundations, piles, retaining systems, soil stabilization, shoring, or engineered site solutions
• Knowledge of estimating, takeoffs, and construction costing
• Experience leading field crews and subcontractors
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, site plans, and technical specifications
• Experience in design-build or custom engineered solution environments

• Jumpy or unstable resume history
• No construction or project management experience
• Unwilling to relocate to Brooksville, Florida within 12 months
• Unable to travel throughout Florida
• Prefers strict 8-to-5 schedules with no flexibility
• Weak budgeting or cost-control experience
• Poor communication with clients or field teams
• No experience managing multiple moving projects simultaneously

• Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
• Vehicle Allowance + Fuel Card
• Work Location: Onsite in Tampa, Florida initially; relocating to Brooksville, Florida within 12 months
• Schedule: 50+ hour workweeks based on project demands
• Work Style: Approximately 50% office / 50% field
