Superintendent – Webber (Ferrovial)
Join our team as a Superintendent and grow your career with Webber. The role focuses on driving project success, ensuring safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost control on construction sites.
Responsibilities- Monitor overall construction work for assigned projects.
- Update project schedules, manage labor costs, and coordinate subcontractor and self‑perform work.
- Partner with Safety department and Project Management to enforce safe workplace policies and procedures.
- Control job progress by managing subcontractors, solving problems and conflicts, and using proper documentation and quality control techniques.
- Control project costs through weekly evaluation of labor, material, and equipment costs.
- Oversee field productivity, cost control, quality control and scheduling to meet accurate and updated construction schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with field and project management to address cost and schedule concerns.
- Participate actively in job start and job close meetings.
- Communicate regularly with Project Management to troubleshoot challenges and provide status updates.
- Enforce company policies and procedures with field personnel and subcontractors.
- Lead by building cooperative relationships, acting decisively, and modeling positive attitudes in a professional manner.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- 5‑10 years of experience in water/wastewater, heavy civil or industrial projects.
- Experience with piping and concrete construction.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented and willing to travel.
- Proficient in Primavera6 CPM scheduling software, Procore and/or Blue Beam.
- Proficient in MSExcel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license for frequent travel.
- English‑language fluency (verbal and written).
- Able to calculate figures, percentages, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Full understanding of construction math concepts.
