Project Engineer Field

Balfour Beatty US is a leading general contracting, at-risk construction management and design‑build services provider. We are seeking a Project Engineer – Field in Tampa, Florida to assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects. The role involves maintaining schedules, managing submittal approvals, coordinating material delivery, and ensuring profitability while complying with our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

• Project financial responsibilities
• Preconstruction services
• Project start‑up and scheduling
• Project administration, coordination, and close‑out
• Promote customer relations

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
• 1 year or more of commercial construction experience
• Proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• 2 years or more of commercial construction field experience
• Experience with RFIs, change orders, submittals, punch lists, and assisting with sub‑contractor meeting minutes
