We are seeking a talented Construction Industrial Project Manager who excels at client engagement, has a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and ensures compliance with worksite requirements and project specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional client relationship management, outstanding project logistics management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to engage project stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities- Lead project teams to achieve bottom-line results and growth.
- Present and communicate with key stakeholders to cultivate new and existing client relationships.
- Ensure building standards are met, particularly with specialized healthcare certifications.
- Study specifications to plan procedures for construction based on starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Serve as a Safety Officer cooperating with our Safety Director to maintain a safe work environment.
- Prepare and communicate field reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjust work schedules as needed after evaluation of project reports.
- Resolve complaints and grievances with professionalism, clearly and concisely.
- Interact frequently with subcontractors to communicate our standards and assist with project compliance in both office and field environments.
- Apply analytical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Maintain constant communication with clients, the project management department, and outside partners (suppliers, subcontractors) to achieve project objectives from multiple sources.
- Prepare competitive bids, with familiarity of lump sum, time and material approaches.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in commercial construction management, jobsite management, and project logistics, including management of all construction trades.
- At least 5 years in a previous position as a Project Manager with strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Higher education in construction management, business management or related construction-based programs is preferred.
- LEED Professional designations desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling software (P6, Microsoft Project) is beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency (5+ years) in Procore Project Management (or similar) software is beneficial; proficiency in Sage Estimating, Textura Payment Management, Docu Sign, and MS Outlook/Word/Excel with accuracy expected. Adaptable to new software and technology.
- Full-time hours Monday–Friday with additional hours as needed.
- Capable of walking job sites, including ladders, uneven terrain, and challenging weather conditions.
- Ability to travel, including commercial flights, for development opportunities and site visits.
- Drug-Free Workplace Program / Background Checks required.
- A valid state driver’s license and driving history meeting company standards is required.
