Our company is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team in the multifamily construction sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid background in high-rise multifamily construction. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Superintendent in overseeing and managing all daily on-site construction activities.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house teams to ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and timelines.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
4. Collaborate with the project management team to develop and maintain project schedules, budget, and quality control measures.
5. Assist in the resolution of technical and logistical problems that may arise during construction.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
7. Assist in the preparation and submission of project reports and updates to stakeholders.
8. Foster a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and necessary safety training is completed.
9. Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input based on construction expertise.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in high-rise multifamily construction.
2. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing construction projects from start to finish.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
6. Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
7. Proficient in using construction management software.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
10. OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a plus.
