Florida Coastal Paving a part of the Delaware Valley Paving family is looking to add a construction laborer specialist to our staff in Phoenixville and Tampa, Florida. A national parking lot construction and maintenance company serving commercial and industrial clients across the country, Delaware Valley Paving and Florida Coastal Paving is a family-owned organization committed to developing our people, strengthening leadership, and delivering consistent, high-quality results through disciplined processes and a strong company culture.
We are looking for a skilled Construction laborer to join our team. Post offer Pre-hire candidates must undergo a criminal background check and drug test.
Responsibilities of a construction laborer:- Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy objects
- Assist with paving projects, including laying asphalt and operating paving equipment
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Previous experience as a laborer and operator, preferred
- Experience with paving equipment and techniques, preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
