Construction Manager

The Axel Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our client's team in Tampa Bay, FL
! Our client focuses on luxury, ground-up custom homes and has a pipeline of projects throughout Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg.

A Construction Manager here will serve as the primary on-site leader ensuring flawless field execution across exclusive projects ranging up to $30M+. We are seeking candidates with backgrounds at custom builders, not production tract housing.

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations from underground utility/concrete work through high-end finish carpentry and turnover.
• Drive detailed construction schedules, coordinate specialized trade partners, and enforce strict quality control standards.
• Proactively identify site challenges, solve complex structural or finish puzzles, and maintain project momentum.
• Oversee on-site RFIs, material submittals, inspections, and safety compliance.
• Act as the polished, professional face of our client on-site.

• 7+ years of on-site field leadership as a Construction Manager or Lead Superintendent on custom luxury homes.
• Proven track record with high-end custom home builders.
• Comprehensive understanding of luxury residential assemblies: deep foundations, elevated concrete slabs, custom millwork, and advanced building envelopes.
• Polished, professional communication style; degree is not required if paired with proven field excellence.
