Construction Estimator
A growing and reputable company is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to add to their team. They specialize in education, industrial, healthcare or commercial projects. This passionate company values excellence and enthusiasm. They are willing to relocate the right person for their team. They self-perform most all of their trades and experience with trades is a plus!
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the overall estimate completeness/accuracy and control of the project budget.
- Conceptual and hard-bid estimating, quantity take-offs, material, and subcontractor pricing to assist with owner/architect collaboration
- Approve project proposals/bid packages prior to presentation
- Provide leadership and oversight of work with clients in the pursuit of new projects and conceptually prepare rough budgets for repeat clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with a General Contractor
- Self-perform experience is a big plus
- Experience in commercial construction
- Experience in Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction document budgets and estimates
- Estimating software knowledge preferred to include MCiC, OnCenter, Timberline, Plan Grid, Revit/Blue Beam
