Dynamic Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to manage construction permit applications from initial submission through approval and closeout. You’ll work with project managers, contractors, engineers, and local building departments to keep projects moving and documentation accurate.

Position Summary

The Permit Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the permitting process for construction, engineering, utility, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects. This role ensures all required permits, approvals, and regulatory documentation are obtained accurately and on schedule to support project execution and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with regulatory agencies and municipalities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government agencies to obtain required approvals.
  • Review project documentation, site plans, drawings, and supporting materials for permit compliance.
  • Monitor permit status and proactively follow up on pending applications.
  • Maintain accurate permit records, databases, and documentation.
  • Communicate permit requirements, approval timelines, and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with permit conditions, regulations, and project requirements.
  • Research zoning, land-use, environmental, and construction regulations.
  • Resolve permitting issues, deficiencies, and agency comments.
  • Assist with project scheduling by identifying permitting risks and deadlines.
  • Prepare reports and maintain permit logs for management review.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of permitting, project coordination, construction administration, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, telecommunications, utilities, engineering, or land development.
  • Familiarity with permit management systems and document control software.
  • Knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental requirements.
  • Experience working with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
