Responsibilities and

Qualifications:

• Edit video for assigned shows and reporter packages.
• Use editorial and visual judgment, tune in incoming feeds from satellites and ENG sources.
• Create and add special effects to stories.
• Meet broadcast deadlines.
• Possess working knowledge of nonlinear editing and newsroom computer systems.
• Familiarity with Edius and Bit Central is a plus.
• Have good news judgment.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a video editor in a television news department is recommended.
• Strong writing, producing, and photography skills encouraged.
• Weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed are required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $ per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
