As a Sales Support Representative, you will serve as a trusted resource for customers by providing timely support, technical guidance, and responsive service throughout the spare parts sales process. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, preparing accurate quotes, converting opportunities into sales, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure customers receive the right parts when they need them. Success in this position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to customer satisfaction while maintaining company processes and performance objectives

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by responding to inquiries and supporting ongoing spare parts needs.
  • Proactively engage with customers to identify replacement parts for worn, damaged, or obsolete equipment components
  • Resolve customer issues by identifying root causes, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, implementing effective solutions, and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Research customer requirements and prepare competitive, accurate quotations that align with operational needs, timelines, and budget considerations
  • Identify correct part numbers, generate quotes, process customer orders, and communicate order confirmations
  • Evaluate supplier options to secure the best combination of quality, cost, and delivery while meeting customer expectations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate purchase orders and procurement documentation throughout the purchasing process
  • Monitor shipment status, provide proactive updates to customers, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Investigate shipment delays, delivery discrepancies, or damaged products, coordinating resolutions with suppliers and customer
  • Actively manage outstanding quotations by following up with customers to maximize quote-to-order conversion
  • Process spare parts requests submitted by Field Service Technicians while adhering to established quoting and ordering procedure
  • Review and process customer return requests, inspect returned materials, and execute internal return procedure
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve returned part issues, including replacements, repairs, or credits, while ensuring timely customer communication and follow-u
Requirements
  • Ability to work onsite at the company office located near Tampa International Airport
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating procurement activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or order management systems is preferred
