Membership Sales Ambassador

BJ's Wholesale Club is looking for a Membership Sales Ambassador to join our team. This role requires availability on Sundays and Saturdays, with shifts primarily from 3:45 PM to 9:30 PM, though weekend shifts may vary based on availability.

Responsibilities include executing acquisition, renewal, and upgrade of BJ's loyalty programs, handling merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries. The role emphasizes excellent and efficient member service.

Club standards require working as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including maintaining a grand opening look with all items stocked, visible accurate signage, and a clean and organized environment.

Knowledge of business includes understanding production and financial performance reporting, and recognizing the impact of consistent execution on the business.

Major tasks involve promoting BJ's value proposition, converting potential members, selling membership products, achieving business goals, understanding membership options, delivering superior customer service, following tax-exempt policies, resolving member concerns, assisting with BOPIC orders, maintaining club policies, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include prior front line/customer service or sales experience, results-driven goal achievement, basic math skills, and computer proficiency.

Environmental conditions involve remaining stationary on hard surfaces, occasionally bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping merchandise, lifting objects up to 30 pounds, and working in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises.
