Senior Project Architect - Science & Technology

Overview

We are The Beck Group, the largest integrated building firm, seeking an experienced Architectural Senior Project Manager to lead projects from Pre‑Design through Construction Administration.

• Effectively manage client relationships, understanding their needs and culture.
• Actively manage budgets, schedules, programs, communications, documentation, and team assignments.
• Manage consultant relationships, contracts, and coordination.
• Collaborate with Integrated Project Leader, Design Team, and Construction Team to understand cost estimates, construction sequencing, and constructability.
• Lead documentation review for quality and manage project manuals.
• Lead building systems selection, evaluation, and detailing.
• Research and ensure compliance with jurisdictional architecture statutes, zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes.
• Resolve technical issues, monitor liability, and manage risk.
• Support and mentor project team members.
• Participate in annual employee reviews alongside project design execution.

• 15+ years of relevant architecture experience.
• College graduate with an NAAB accredited degree.
• Professional registration.
• Experience with Integrated Project Delivery and a passion for process improvement and technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and integrity.

Often required to sit, stand, move around the office, and occasionally outdoors; must lift or carry bulky plans or boxes up to 10lbs. Must operate a computer and attend client meetings; may be required to travel.
