Overview
We are currently seeking an Experienced Architectural Associate to join our Corporate Practice group in our Tampa, FL office. ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Buildings team, you will develop impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, and site selection; lead data collection efforts; prepare portions of project documents, drawings, visual aids, and presentations; edit specifications and discipline reports; and perform research and investigations. You will work with a team of Healthcare and Corporate Workplace design professionals and may work a hybrid schedule of in‑office and remote.
Qualifications- Have a bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree from an NAAB‑accredited program and eligibility to take the Architect Registration Exam (ARE) are strongly preferred.
- Have a solid understanding of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances.
- Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
- Have a passion for architecture and a willingness to grow and learn.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB‑accredited university.
- NCARB IDP program enrollment.
- Professional experience utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
- Comfortable shifting between multiple project assignments.
