Architectural Project Captain

At api(+), we design places where life happens. From retail centers to restaurants, to grocery stores and all levels of retail, our work is rooted in strategy and creativity.

We’re looking for Project Captains who thrive in both design and execution. The right fit is someone who can carry a project from concept through construction with an eye for design and knowledge of what makes retail thrive.

If you’re passionate about great design, have retail experience, and want to be part of a highly collaborative, creative firm, we’d love to connect.

• Coordinate projects from design development through construction
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
• Guide production, documentation and QA/QC with a strong eye for design
• Contribute to thoughtful, experience-driven retail environments

• 5–10 years of experience (but we’re open to all levels for the right talent)
• Architectural registration is a bonus but not required
• A balance of creativity, organization and technical confidence
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication style
