As a Project Architect, you'll play a critical role in managing projects while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architectural projects from programming and design through construction administration and project closeout.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Coordinate with principals, consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal design teams.
- Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents, specifications, and design development packages.
- Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve design and coordination challenges.
- Assist with fee proposals, contracts, and consultant coordination.
- Mentor and provide guidance to project team members.
- Build strong client relationships that lead to repeat business opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited professional architecture program
6+ years of architectural experience
Advanced proficiency in Revit (Required)
Experience managing architectural projects from design through construction
Strong knowledge of construction documentation and building systems
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with:
- Revit
- Microsoft Office
- Procore
- Smartsheet
Architectural License (Highly Preferred but not required
)
NCARB Certification is a plus
Commercial, banking, or financial institution project experience is highly desirable
Proven history of long-term employment and career stability (strong job tenure is important)
