Mediagistic is a rapidly growing national marketing agency primarily serving the home service industry. We are looking for an experienced Web Designer to join our web team in our Tampa office. This role is focused on designing and building high-quality Word Press websites in a fast-paced production environment. Most of our clients are in the home service industry, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other local service-based businesses.
The ideal candidate should have strong Word Press and Elementor experience, a solid understanding of UI/UX best practices, and the ability to create polished, conversion-focused websites within established templates and systems. This is a great role for a designer who can move quickly, follow direction, think creatively, and produce quality work consistently.
Mediagistic embraces modern design workflows and AI-assisted productivity. Experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI platforms to improve efficiency, content creation, research, and problem-solving is a plus.
- Design, build, and maintain Word Press websites using Elementor
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly website layouts with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles
- Apply client branding, colors, typography, imagery, and creative direction throughout each website
- Work from sitemaps, content documents, brand guides, client notes, and website examples
- Build clean, conversion-focused websites for home service and local service-based businesses
- Customize website layouts using HTML and CSS when needed
- Complete quality control checks before handoff, including reviewing mobile layouts, broken links, missing content, formatting issues, and visual consistency
- Support website go-lives, post-launch reviews, and general website lifecycle processes
- Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, content writers, and digital strategists to deliver projects on time and within specifications
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to create, edit, or optimize website graphics and assets as needed
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to improve workflow efficiency is a plus.
- Experience with Figma for wire framing, mockups, and design collaboration is a plus.
- Stay current with Word Press, Elementor, responsive design, and web design best practices
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in website design
- Strong experience with Word Press and Elementor
- Proficient in HTML and CSS
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for developing website layouts, graphics, and assets
- Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and UI/UX principles
- Ability to work within established templates, systems, and brand guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or revisions at once
- Ability to complete quality control checks on your own work before handoff
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and AI-driven workflows.
A portfolio of completed website work is required.
This is a great fit for a designer who can move quickly, follow systems, think creatively, and produce quality work in a high-volume website environment.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.

LocationThis is a fully in-office role, Monday through Friday, based at our Tampa headquarters in Hidden River at I-75 & Fletcher (not remote or hybrid).
