Non-invasive Pediatric Cardiologist - St. Joseph Children`s Hospital, Tampa, FL

Bay Care Medical Group, the leading medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Non-Invasive Pediatric Cardiologist to join a well-established, multi-subspecialty group serving the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years. This position is primarily based at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatric cardiology and possess excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for advancing the field of cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases using noninvasive techniques.
• Participate in inpatient coverage, with the opportunity to perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) if desired.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers in the region to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
• Share general pediatric cardiology call coverage equally with 12+ full-time physicians in the group.
• Collaborate with a team of highly respected specialists in fetal cardiology, electrophysiology, catheterization, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease.
• Work in conjunction with the Tampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center, which provides lifelong care for adult patients with congenital heart conditions.

Qualifications:

• Board certification/board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• State medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• TEE experience is preferred but not required.
