St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join a collegial and experienced anesthesia team serving patients across St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital. The anesthesia group is a cohesive and highly respected team of 28 anesthesiologists and more than 50 advanced practice providers, working together to deliver outstanding perioperative care. Pediatric anesthesiologists play a vital role in caring for children from newborns to adolescents, with opportunities for involvement in complex and high-acuity cases.

• Diverse pediatric case mix, including neonatal, general, and subspecialty surgeries.
• Supportive supervision model (3:1) with opportunities for hands‑on cases.
• Shared pediatric call responsibilities among the pediatric anesthesia team.
• No obstetric anesthesia required.
• Some adult anesthesia is incorporated into this position.

• Part of a growing children’s health program with plans approved for a new, free‑standing Children’s Hospital adjacent to the current facility.
• Dedicated pediatric surgical suites and a full spectrum of subspecialty services.
