Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Client seeks a Psychiatrist for a permanent position. The position is in the Tampa, FL area. You would be a part of the integrated model of healthcare, the psychiatrist diagnoses, prescribes medication, monitors medication side effects and participates in the treatment proves in the field of mental health. The psychiatrist functions in accordance with plans and policies established and performs duties within the medical setting as a member of the care team.

- Full-Time Schedule
- In person position position but can be a hybrid
- Average of 18-20 patients per day
- Valid and current Florida Medical License
- DEA certification
- Maintain hospital privileges at the Center's referral hospital
- Provides direct diagnostic assessment and evaluation of patients; coordinates care with the primary care physician; participates in treatment plan reviews.
- Participates in Peer Review and Quality Improvement initiatives
- Oversees broad range of the organizations treatment modalities performed by both psychiatrists and other health professionals for the benefit of the mentally ill
