Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Oncologist at the Assistant/Associate/Senior level to join the Department of Gynecologic Oncology. Our GYNONC program is a complete academic practice in research, teaching, and clinical care; and we are part of the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state. We are involved in translational research and all phases of clinical trials. This includes investigator-initiated studies;

for example, in ovarian cancer we have a first-in-human CART study in recurrent disease and a frontline DOD ovarian cancer treatment study to evaluate biomarkers of the immune environment. We also have a full spectrum of studies in all GYNONC disease sites to include cell therapies and novel therapeutics. We participate in the Gynecologic Oncology Group. We have all levels of graduate medical education including premedical and medical students, residents, gynecologic oncology and medical oncology fellows, and advanced practice professional students.

This role engages in clinical or translational research in conjunction with delivery of clinical services. The position will demonstrate creative activity, including discovery of new knowledge and/or development of new educational techniques. Protected time is available for those who demonstrate the capacity to perform clinical or translational research. The position will report to the Department Chair. Successful candidates must have a medical degree or foreign equivalent, completion of an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship, Board eligible or Board certified in Medical Oncology, a Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one, and be qualified to obtain hospital privileges. Candidates practice medicine, hematology and medical oncology within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.
