Overview
Shriners Children’s is looking for a full-time board-certified/eligible Pediatric Radiologist to join our team at Shriners Children’s Chicago. This position would provide radiology services to several of our facilities across the Midwest and requires fellowship training in pediatric radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading STAT and routine pediatric cases from both our inpatient and outpatient services. This position entails a 1.0 FTE commitment with a M-F, 8-5 schedule, and the opportunity to provide teleradiology services.

- Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x‑ray, ultrasound, CT, and dexa imaging in a timely manner.
- Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician
- Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician order
- Work exclusively in pediatric imaging with no interventional responsibilities
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school required.
- Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with additional fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology required. Board eligible or certified in pediatric radiology highly preferred.
- Must possess or be eligible for IL, MO, and OH medical licensure, in addition to their state of residency.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong MSK background.
