Position Highlights

• Full-time flexible weekly schedule from Monday to Friday

• Call responsibilities are collaborative and rotate fairly among the group

• Holiday coverage is shared equitably among the physicians

• Balanced blend of inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a diverse and engaging workload

• QGenda platform for streamlined scheduling, with consistent 4-hour blocks for clinic time and 8-hour blocks for hospital rounds

• All physicians are capable of floating between pods for emergencies

Practice Environment

• Join an amazing team of 18 physicians, 3 full-time NPs and several PRN NPs

• Fully comprehensive case mix with inpatient, outpatient, and telemedicine  (HIV, Orthopedics) along with exposure to a high transplant volume (especially solid organ transplants - main cases: kidney, pancreas, liver, heart ) - a great need of expertise in the area at a busy Level 1 Trauma Hospital and alongside a great transplant team

• Pods/Teams based at various top hospitals throughout the Bay Area but credentialed at all facilities

• APP utilization is primarily nursing homes/LTACs; hospital work mostly physician-led

• Practice in a State-of-the-Art, modern outpatient clinic along with Infusion Center accessibility at two great locations, open 7 days/week, staffed with infusion RNs

Compensation and Benefits

• Highly competitive base salary with significant earning potential

• With two distinct bonus structures:
• Production Bonus: A collections-based bonus where percentages increase over a certain threshold
• Infusion Bonus: A share of the infusion center profits based on patient-days attributed to you.

• Sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, and malpractice insurance

• Medical and disability coverage are provided

• 401(k) with an employer match is offered

• CME and travel allowance is available

Candidate Requirements

• BC in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Infectious Disease (must pass boards) - new fellows are welcome and encouraged to apply

• Transplant Infectious Disease experience and/or Transplant fellowship-trained physicians is strongly preferred

• Not eligible for visa sponsorship

• Candidates welcomed who are Bilingual as it is highly beneficial to help better serve Spanish-speaking patients and their families
