The Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Computing at the University of South Florida seeks a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-earning Assistant Professor of Instruction to begin Fall 2026.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate core and elective courses in AI, cybersecurity, and computer science. Instructional faculty are encouraged to engage in professional development, service, and sponsored research; course releases or buyouts may be available through significant service or research activity.
Minimum QualificationsPhD in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field from an accredited institution by time of hire.
Preferred QualificationsPrior teaching experience in computing-related disciplines, particularly hands-on or applied courses.
Founded in 2025 with a $40M gift from Arnie and Lauren Bellini, the Bellini College is Florida’s first college dedicated to AI, cybersecurity, and computing. The College includes 67 faculty members, educates approximately 3,000 students across 15 degree programs, and supports nationally ranked research initiatives and interdisciplinary partnerships.
