Life Tutors, a clinically informed coaching service supporting young adults transitioning to independence through in-person coaching, is seeking to add new coaches to our team in Tampa, FL! We encourage trained coaches with strong experience in supporting executive functioning skills to apply (planning, time management, emotional regulation), particularly if this experience is within the context of working with college-aged students.

We are looking for one coach (client has requested working with a male coach) who specializes in supporting executive functioning skills with college students. The client is looking for support and to build skills in managing his time, allowing for sufficient attention to be paid to his studies while balancing that with a healthy and supportive social life on campus. Client attends The University of Tampa and coaching sessions would be held on or near campus.
Coach will meet with the client 2x per week for 60-90 minutes each. Coach will be paired with an existing team member as their co-coach and will share a call with their co-coach once per week to reflect on the previous week and collaborate on next steps.

- Conduct individual coaching sessions with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized goal plans
- Provide guidance and support to clients in achieving their goals, such as academics, employment, independent living, managing their medication, and more.
- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to address clients' unique needs
- Collaborate with management, coaches, and families as needed
- Keep accurate records of client progress, notes, and maintain confidentiality of participant information
- Participate in earning Life Tutors' in-house coaching certification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a human services related field, such as psychology, counseling, social work or education
- Experience working in behavioral health with young adults
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Empathy and an accepting approach to supporting young adults in transition
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
