Job Description
The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable.
Qualifications- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Information Science, Information Technology, Security Studies or a closely related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, etc.) is required.
- Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by appointment start date.
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
- Research focuses on Cyber and/or Strategic Intelligence Tradecraft or Information Security/Cybersecurity.
- Strong quantitative research skills.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication.
- University-level teaching experience.
- Clearly articulated research agenda.
