Job Description
The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time, non‑tenure earning Assistant Professor of Instruction position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable.
QualificationsMinimum qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Information Science, Information Technology, Security Studies or a closely related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, etc.) is required. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by appointment start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Preferred qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants whose expertise and experience focuses on Cyber and/or Strategic Intelligence Tradecraft or Information Security/Cybersecurity and who have a record of successful university‑level teaching experience.
