Life International Academy is a small, purpose driven Montessori inspired micro school blending strong academics with life skills, real world learning, and global citizenship. Our multi grade classrooms are intentionally structured, relationship based, and academically focused. Located on a 3 acre campus, learning regularly extends outdoors through gardening, nature exploration, and sustainability projects.

With continued enrollment growth, we are expanding our teaching team and welcoming Lead Montessori Teachers who value both child centered practice and academic rigor.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for a Montessori educator who enjoys leading a classroom with clarity, consistency, and care. Lead Teachers guide academic growth and social emotional development while working closely with a trained classroom assistant. Teachers at LIFE collaborate closely, plan intentionally, and support one another as part of a mission aligned team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-grade Montessori classroom with clear structure, consistency, and calm authority
- Plan and deliver Montessori lessons aligned to grade level standards and school outcomes
- Develop unit plans, scope and sequence, and long range instructional plans
- Submit weekly lesson plans and classroom documentation to support alignment and collaboration
- Administer NWEA MAP assessments three times per year, training and support provided
- Use assessment data to inform instruction and student support
- Differentiate instruction to support individual student growth
- Track student progress using Transparent Classroom and internal planning tools
- Prepare and maintain the Montessori learning environment and materials
- Incorporate outdoor learning, nature exploration, and sustainability into instruction
- Design and guide real world, life skills based learning experiences connected to daily life
- Communicate professionally and consistently with families
- Collaborate with and guide the classroom assistant
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration
- Model grace, courtesy, responsibility, respect, and ethical behavior
- Montessori certification from a recognized program
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum 4 years Montessori classroom experience preferred
- Experience in academically structured or progressive school environments preferred
- Strong organization, follow through, and time management skills
- Confidence with academic benchmarks, documentation, and assessments
- Comfort using Google Drive, Transparent Classroom, and digital systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must pass a background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Full Time salary range $45,000–$55,000
