After-School Assistant Program Coach

Location: East Pasco County Schools
Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

We are looking for an engaging and reliable
Program Coach to help run our youth after-school activities. Your primary mission is to create a safe, high-energy environment where students can develop new skills, stay active, and—most importantly—have fun. This isn’t just about supervision; it’s about mentorship and active instruction.

• Lead & Instruct: Execute daily activity plans, providing clear instructions for games, drills, and team-building exercises. All lesson plans are already designed!
• Youth Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, managing group dynamics and ensuring all participants are included and engaged.
• Safety First: Maintain a secure environment by following check-in/out procedures and supervising equipment use.

• Instructional Background: Proven experience delivering instructions to groups (e.g., teaching, tutoring, or camp counseling).

  A genuine passion for working with children and the ability to adapt your communication style to different age groups.
• Reliability: Punctuality is non-negotiable—our students depend on us being there.

We would be especially excited to meet candidates who bring any of the following to the table:

• Athletic Background: Experience coaching recreational sports.
• Educational Expertise: Current or retired teachers (especially PE) who have mastered the art of "gym logic" and classroom management.
• Tennis Enthusiasts: Specific experience coaching or playing tennis is a major plus!
