Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher level administrator of a State university. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities. May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees.

Minimum qualifications:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Information Science, Information Technology, Security Studies or a closely related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, etc.) is required. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by appointment start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

Preferred qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants whose research focuses on Cyber and/or Strategic Intelligence Tradecraft or Information Security/Cybersecurity, who have strong quantitative research skills, a demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication, university-level teaching experience and a clearly articulated research agenda.
