The Department of Marketing in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track, annually renewable position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor / Lecturer, starting in August 2026.
ResponsibilitiesThe faculty member will teach three 4‑credit undergraduate courses and is expected to:
- Teach and develop curriculum for Principles of Marketing, Professional Sales, and International Marketing.
- Advise students and participate in department, college, and university activities.
- Engage with the business community and support experiential learning initiatives.
- Continue scholarly research activities (for doctoral candidates) and contribute to the academic mission.
- A PhD, MBA, MS, or equivalent marketing graduate degree with at least 18 credit hours in graduate‑level marketing courses from an AACSB‑accredited program or equivalent.
- Five or more years of professional experience in the field (preferred).
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and liberal arts education.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
