POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a high-impact Educational Support Coach for a part-time, multi-site role. This position is designed for a mobile and adaptive expert who can move between various campuses to provide targeted pedagogical support. You will serve as the bridge between organizational standards and classroom reality, ensuring that explicit instruction and Project-Based Learning (PBL) are implemented with fidelity across the entire organization.
The successful candidate will be a "boots-on-the-ground" leader, utilizing adult learning principles to build teacher capacity and applying a deep understanding of child development to ensure student success.
As this is a multi-site role, the Educational Support Coach must be highly autonomous and comfortable working in various environments. You are the "connective tissue" that helps our organization maintain instructional excellence across all locations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Multi-Site Coaching Cycles: Rotate between assigned sites to conduct program visits, model lessons, and facilitate 1-on-1 coaching cycles with teaching staff.
- Instructional Quality Control: Ensure a consistent standard of explicit instruction across different locations while allowing for the unique cultural needs of each site.
- PBL Project Management: Support site-specific teams in launching and assessing Project-Based Learning initiatives, ensuring rigor and alignment with program standards.
- Localized Professional Development: Facilitate small-group "lunch and learns" or site-based workshops grounded in adult learning theory to address specific campus trends.
- Developmental Monitoring: Consult with teachers on student behaviors and learning gaps, providing interventions based on established child development milestones. Using knowledge of Executive Function and Brain Based Research.
Competency
Part-Time / Multi-Site Application
Ability to quickly build rapport with different teams and adapt coaching styles to various campus cultures. Skilled at delivering high-value, concise training that respects the limited time of busy educators.
Instructional Expertise
Mastery of both Explicit Instruction (for foundational skills) and PBL (for inquiry-based learning).
Logistical Competence
Strong self-management and organizational skills to handle travel schedules and multi-site documentation.
Child Development
Ability to observe a learning space and identify if instruction is developmentally appropriate for the age group served.
QUALIFICATIONS- Education: Bachelor's degree in education; elementary and/or reading endorsement preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of classroom experience + 2 years of instructional leadership/coaching.
- Travel: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. This role requires travel to 3 sites weekly; club visits 5 days a week (visit could be in same club on consecutive days).
- Flexibility: Ability to manage a non-traditional schedule and prioritize sites based on data-driven needs.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to keep administrators informed of coaching progress remotely.
Travel will be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, and Pinellas County for training and/or other business purposes.
