Summer Swim Instructors Carrollwood Village Swim Team in Tampa, FL

As a Swim Instructor at Carrollwood Village Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and provide both individual and group lessons customized for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is a great fit for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Swim Instructor from to join our team and support our Carrollwood Village Swim Team in Tampa, FL.

• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor student progress, offer feedback, and provide guidance as necessary

• Previous experience working with students of varying ages and abilities, ideally in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficiency in multiple swim strokes and techniques
• Sound knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of working with children in a structured setting
• A genuine love for swimming and children
