Position SummaryThe organization is seeking a Montessori Teacher Assistant for the Primary Classroom, catering to children aged 3 to 6 years. This is a full-time position with work hours from 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM
. The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for working with young children, values the Montessori philosophy, collaborates effectively within a teaching team, and is dedicated to fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a prepared, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children throughout the day while encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behavior.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety during classroom, playground, and daily activities.
- Help with classroom routines, transitions, meals, toileting, rest time, and special events.
- Prepare materials, maintain classroom organization, and collaborate with staff to support children's development.
- Education
:
High School Diploma required; CDA, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. - Experience
:
Classroom experience with preschool or kindergarten-aged children. - Skills
:
Strong organizational and communication skills. - Professionalism
:
Calm, professional, and reliable presence. - Eligibility
:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. - Licensing

Must meet all Florida childcare licensing requirements.
- Salary
:
Begins at $36,000 annually, based on years of experience and certification(s). - Paid Time Off
: 5 personal days. - Paid Breaks
