Assistant​/Assoc. Professor, Non-Tenure Track

Responsibilities

• Teach in undergraduate and/or graduate programs, including didactic, clinical, lab, and online instruction.
• Mentor students.
• Participate in service activities at the college, university, and professional levels.
• Engage in curriculum and clinical site evaluation.
• Conduct scholarly work and contribute to college and university service consistent with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
• Be present onsite during standard business hours; no remote work option available.
• Travel to clinical sites and teach across Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Sarasota‑Manatee campuses as needed.

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (non‑tenure earning).

• Hold or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date.

• Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated record of grant writing and/or research in nursing healthcare leadership.
