St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is a new independent Catholic school in South Tampa, Florida.

Aquinas joins hundreds of Catholic schools across the nation as part of the growing renaissance of Catholic classical liberal arts education.

• Mission & Culture: Model and foster STA’s Catholic classical identity; ensure all school life and activities reflect the mission and vision.
• Faculty Leadership: Recruit, hire, evaluate, and coach teachers; provide accountability, support, and professional development.
• Curriculum Design & Standards: Oversee curriculum design and standards; ensure quality and consistency of instruction; manage testing and accreditation processes.
• Student Success: Monitor academic progress, address challenges, and partner with parents and students to support achievement and formation.
• Community Engagement: Represent the school at events; collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and stakeholders.
• Additional Duties: Teach a middle school subject if needed; assist with admissions and student discipline; organize curriculum resources and schedules.

• Strong leadership, humility, moral character, and love of learning.
• Significant teaching experience, ideally within classical liberal education.
• Prior school leadership or administrative experience.
