Substitute Teacher - Lower Division

Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking substitute teachers for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade on an as‑needed, hourly basis. This is not a full‑time position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and instruction.
• Implement lesson plans.
• Manage the classroom.
• Ensure student learning.

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or working with children preferred.
• Good sense of humor, positive outlook, and appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group.
• Strong willingness to receive feedback regularly and grow professionally.
• Eager to contribute to the life of the school in a culturally and ethnically diverse environment.
