Description

The Behavior Portfolio Associate is responsible for creating and developing behavior‑based courses in communications, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and performance management. The role works closely with Learning Partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and delivery teams to ensure training programs align with the organization’s goals and needs.

How You Will Contribute Learning & Development Operations
  • Partner with internal teams, including Learning Partners, SMEs, and delivery teams to design, develop, and evaluate behavior‑focused training programs.
  • Collaborate with Learning Partners to identify and prioritize behavior‑based training needs across the organization.
  • Apply best practices and support the identification of blended learning approaches that address business and performance challenges.
  • Assist in developing design proposals, proof‑of‑concept prototypes, and Statements of Work in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Refine and manage the processes, methodologies, and tools for creating, organizing, delivering, and evaluating behavior‑focused learning content.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and updating of the behavior‑focused course catalog.
Course Design & Development
  • Design and develop behavior‑focused learning content aligned with defined learning objectives and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Assess and revise existing behavior‑focused learning solutions to enhance impact.
  • Create and curate learning assets, including digital media, print materials, and graphics.
  • Ensure adherence to design principles and project timelines, delivering initiatives on time.
  • Collaborate directly with SMEs to develop and review content for accuracy and relevance.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Coordinate with content vendors and utilize tools such as Articulate and video editing software to produce high‑quality materials.
Course Preparation & Execution
  • Coordinate with the delivery team to launch new courses, ensuring readiness and alignment with portfolio objectives.
  • Provide on‑site or remote support during course delivery to ensure a seamless training experience and evaluate effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Continuously improve personal professional development to stay current with trends and best practices in behavior‑based learning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, instructional design, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of learning and development experience, focusing on behavior‑focused programs in communications, DEI, and performance management, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles with experience supporting behavior‑based learning program implementation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain effective version control of learning materials.
  • Analytical skills for evaluating learning effectiveness through data analysis and applying insights to drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing vendor relationships and engaging stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Client‑facing experience, supporting senior leaders and teams with a client‑facing mindset.
  • Resilience, thriving under pressure, adapting to changing priorities, and navigating unexpected delays.
  • Professional services or consulting experience is a plus.
