Job outline:
The Guidance Counselor, in collaboration with the counseling department, practices ethical and professional standards in the effective implementation and management of a guidance and college counseling program that promotes Jesuit values and student success.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Providing direct counseling and guidance to students and families.
* Enhancing the learning process and promoting students' academic, career, and social/emotional development.
* Working with the students to achieve optimal personal growth, acquire positive social skills and values, and realize their full academic potential.
* Implementing action plans, as necessary, to help students grow; serve as a liaison between the students and faculty.
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree.
* Excellent counseling, writing, and communication skills.
* A minimum of three years of experience in high school counseling.
* Pass a Level II background screening.
