Part-Time Instructor To Teach Geography

The Department of History, Geography and Legal Studies in the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach Geography.

Responsibilities will include:

• Create syllabus and other course related materials.
• Teach course(s) according to departmental guidelines.
• Provide meeting times for students.
• Complete course grading and submit final grades in the online system.

The successful candidate will have:

• Master's Degree in Geography required; doctorate preferred.
• Experience teaching college-level Geography.
• Experience teaching Geographic Information Systems is also desirable.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
