Position: Sport Management Part-time Instructor Pool 2026-2027

Part-Time Instructors In Sport Management

The Department of Sport Management in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in sport management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Teach one or more sport management course lecture sections meeting 3-4 hours per week for a semester. The course textbook is selected in consultation with the full-time sport management faculty.
  • Assist students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Create syllabi for students each semester using learning outcome guidelines provided by the department.
  • Provide meeting time for students as needed.
  • Administer and grade examinations and assignments.
  • Manage online or paper grading system as needed.
  • Adhere to all applicable department, college, and university policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in sport management or a related field required.
  • Previous experience in sport management required.
  • Previous teaching experience in sport management preferred.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
