Assistant Principal

Job description:

The Assistant Principal supports the Principal in the overall administration of instructional programs and campus-level operations. The Assistant Principal is expected to be present in classrooms daily, provide instructional leadership and teacher support, manage student discipline, coordinate assessments, and ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Each Assistant Principal is assigned responsibilities and operational duties.

• Instructional Leadership:
  Assist in overseeing curriculum implementation, support teacher development through observations and evaluations, and promote effective instructional strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
• School Operations Management:
  Collaborate in managing daily school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Student Services and Discipline:
  Oversee student behavior management, enforce disciplinary policies, and work with counselors and staff to address individual student needs and promote a positive school climate.
• Assessment Coordination:
  Manage the administration of standardized tests and other assessments, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines, and utilize data to inform instructional decisions.
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
  Foster relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders to support school initiatives and enhance student opportunities.

Qualifications:

Possess a master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in Education. Have a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
