Certified Teacher Interventionist 26/27 SY - Channelside Academy
Full Time Tampa, FL, US
Salary Range: $54,250.00 To $71,000.00 Annually

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent with Florida Teacher Certification.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with the MTSS process.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Reading Endorsement or Reading Certification preferred for working with Tier 3 reading groups.
- Gather, organize, and interpret assessment data to determine intervention groups.
- Utilize best practice instructional strategies and CSA approved research-based intervention curriculum materials to meet the learning needs of identified students.
- Model the use of intervention strategies to general and special education teachers.
- Analyze existing student achievement data and administer student assessment and progress monitoring instruments as needed to aid in progress monitoring of students.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, building administrators, and parents about student progress.
- Maintain accurate student records, parent communication records and student progress data reports as required.
- Attend professional development opportunities that promote improved instructional strategies and support researched-based resource material needed to implement the intervention program successfully and support/maintain professional growth.
- Keep records of lesson plans, and records of students’ performance.
- Coordinate data collection as it relates to MTSS.
- Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 intervention lessons with fidelity.
- Review cases in preparation (MTSS packet) for determining eligibility for ESE services.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school administrators on completion of MTSS paperwork to reflect student’s progress.
- Be prepared for all intervention groups with CSA approved resources that match the student’s intervention plans.
- Attend all data-based problem-solving meetings, MTSS meetings and parent meetings that are focused on the students you serve.
- Works with MTSS Coordinator Kerin Casey to ensure MTSS packets are ready prior to ESE eligibility meetings.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal may from time-to-time assign.
