Responsibilities:
- Assists the program/department in adopting policies and practices.
- Assists in the objective evaluation of both established and innovative programs to assess the effectiveness of materials, the methodology used in the program, and the educational growth of learners.
- Provides support to others through content-based and pedagogically sound professional development opportunities.
- Assists school-level leaders and teachers to develop plans, incorporate strategies, and implement techniques.
- Serves as an advocate for the specified site and/or program/project at the district-level and as a liaison between the district, site, and the community.
- Ensures schools are appropriately implementing processes and structures.
- Attends relevant meetings, including professional conferences, and chairs or serves on committees related to appropriate academic area, programs/projects, and/or specified curriculum.
- Provides curricular and/or program support and assistance to district staff, site administrators, teachers, instructional coaches, resource teachers, and other site-based personnel.
- Provides relevant professional development workshops and/or training programs to assist appropriate instructional staff to update their skills and increase their knowledge base.
- Attends relevant meetings, including professional conferences, and chairs or serves on committees related to the relevant academic area, programs/projects, and/or specified curriculum.
- Provides on-site support to administrators with teacher observations and evaluations, program implementation, and evaluation of program effectiveness.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Degree in educational leadership, administration/supervision, or related field preferred. - Experience:
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in education or project management related field, with three (3) years of related management or supervisory experience preferred. - Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Educational Leadership, School Principal, or Administration and Supervision preferred. - Language
Skills:
Reads and interprets general business and professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. Writes reports, correspondence, and manuals. Effectively presents and responds to questions from managers and the public. - Mathematical
Skills:
Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. - Reasoning Ability:
Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Office. - District Expectations:
