Job DescriptionOversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs. Collaborates with program directors to create curricula that meet educational objectives and enhance the learning experience. Provides leadership and support to faculty and staff involved in educational programs. Facilitates effective communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving within the institution. Implements and monitors quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of educational programs.
Utilizes data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Supports the professional development of faculty members through training, mentoring, and resources to enhance teaching and educational skills. Manages resources effectively to support educational programs, including budgeting, staffing, and technological support. Ensures students receive the necessary support and guidance to succeed in their educational programs. Addresses student concerns and facilitates a positive learning environment.
Provides oversight for required documentation and reports to regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations. Ensures accurate and comprehensive records maintenance related to educational programs. Ensures educational programs remain in compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements and implement updates as needed. Assist with the faculty development curriculum. Serve as Vice Chair of the GME Committee, Chair of the Institutional Review Subcommittee, and designee for the Chief Academic Officer when absent.
