Position OverviewThe Department of Education in the College of Social Science, Mathematics & Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for part‑time instructors in Instructional Design & Technology. The main responsibility is to teach some core and electives graduate‑level courses in the Instructional Design & Technology program.
ResponsibilitiesTeach face‑to‑face and blended instruction in core and elective graduate courses. Deliver classes in both day and evening sessions.
Required Qualifications- Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Instruction and Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
- Experience and expertise in instructional design.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
- Experience working with and mentoring students.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated scholarship and professional involvement.
- Competency in learning theories related to instructional design.
- Record of working with diverse populations.
- Implementation of current educational technologies and teaching practices.
- Must live in Florida.
- Experience with Quality Matters and Learning Management Systems.
